Milan, December 2022 - Porada Arredi srl, leading company in the production of furniture and furnishing accessories and POLI.design, Consortium Society founded by Politecnico di Milano, with the patronage of ADI, the Association for Industrial Design, present the jury of experts who will judge the applications received to decree the winners of PORADA INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARD 2022, now in its 10th edition, which this year has the Armchair as its theme. Due to the high number of requests to postpone the end of the call, it will be possible to participate and deliver the projects until January 15th, 2023.
The jury will consist of:

• Diane Tevoedjre, South African interior designer
• Ilaria Crocco, Viasaterna gallerist

• Stephan Julliard, French photographer
An international level jury, that on February 3rd, 2023 will meet at Villa del Grumello, Lake Como, will evaluate the applications received by professionals and students from all over the world. In evaluating the entries, the judges will take into account their originality, the degree of innovation and pursuit of new design solutions related to the processes typically used for solid wood, experimentation with materials and surface finishes, the capacity of projects to define and anticipate scenarios of use and innovative concepts in the use of wooden furniture and contemporary furnishings.
The jury will then announce three winners for each of the two competing categories (Students and Professionals). After February 3rd, 2023, the results will be made public.
The total prize money of € 10.000 will be allocated as follows:
PROFESSIONAL Category:
1st prize: € 3.000
2nd prize: € 2.000
3rd prize: € 1.000
STUDENT Category:
1st prize: € 2.000
2nd prize: € 1.200
3rd prize: € 800
The Porada International Design Award is a design contest, held annually, promoted by the company Porada Arredi of Cabiate (CO), organized by POLI.design, Consortium Company founded by the Politecnico di Milano, with the patronage of ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale.
The competition, aimed at Italian and foreign designers and creatives (individuals or groups), freelancers or non-professionals, employees of companies and design students, has reached its 10th edition.
