Porada has attended Design Nation, the exhibition focused on the introduction of new design trends and furnishing accessories – Kortrijk, 19 & 20 October.Items from the most recent collections had been purposefully selected to represent the brand’s design, style and philosophy, and displayed alongside rugs by JoV, the Belgian brand Porada shared the booth and partners with for interior design projects and monobrand showrooms layout completion.
Featured items included a few new designs from the Twenty-Three collection, launched earlier this year at the Salone del Mobile di Milan – specifically Tylsa Night 4, Aksel and Molly – combined with products from previous collections. Design Nation is the vivid example of how Porada items – although developed by different designers at different times – are able to seamlessly coexist with each other in interior design projects as a result of a clearly defined style.
The stand layout was intended to recreate the concept of a home, albeit in an evocative way. Each furniture piece claimed the task of decorating and enriching the domestic ambience – from the bedroom to the study, passing through the living room – thus playing a key role in defining and setting the atmosphere of each living space.
Each Porada design on display had been selected to gracefully match the type of yarn and the nuances of the JoV rugs, in a playful balance between colour and material.
