Adding to the iconic Bayus family, renowned for its distinctive drawers with wooden or leather front, is the Bayus Tondo 7 chest of seven drawers. This piece, with a retro flavour, is designed not only to complement the bedroom, but also other living spaces. The frame in canaletta walnut with round shape is completed with a wooden or marble top. The drawers feature dark brown leather handles with scoubidou effect, while the interior is finished with scratch-resistant titanium for added durability, perfect for everyday use. The Bronzoro metal base with brushed brass tips represents a signature feature across the entire Bayus collection.
Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the Design department of Politecnico di Milano and Oscar Buratti, architect, together founded the BURATTI ARCHITETTI studio. The Studio has a multidisciplinary practice, which covers buildings and urban areas, architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as design of exhibitions and showrooms. An intense and varied professional path in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and craftsmanship, mingle together. Buratti brothers share with Porada the intention of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original visions, and product quality.
“We don’t believe in striking gestures, but in the ability to transfer into the object a broader view of the space, good technique and care of detail.”
