The Blush console table is the combination of Porada’s know-how and the inspiration of the style and lines of the Maskara collection, designed by Emmanuel Gallina. The base – made of ash wood and available in all the finishes of the collection – is characterized by a harmonious design with gently curved lines that show the skills of the best artisans and welcomes the top made of marble – available in the different finishes of the collection.
Thanks to the presence of a convenient central hidden drawer, this entrance console is a perfect example of both aesthetic and functionality sought in every Porada production. Initially conceived to be positioned at the entrance of private homes, Blush is the ideal furnishing accessory also for contract projects, used in combination with other elements of the collection.
He graduated from E.N.A.D in Limoges and I.A.V in Orléans, and further deepened his knowledge at Politecnico di Milano University, obtaining a diploma of Master in design & management. He currently works for his own studio, essentially working between Italy and France, opening new collaborations with highly contemporary international brands such as Porada. Elegance, clarity and simplicity are key elements in Emmanuel Gallina’s work. His creative ethos for authenticity and consistency is embodied in all his designs. In his opinion, attention to detail is a constant priority. Emmanuel Gallina is often invited to give lectures and organise workshops in France, Italy, China and Brazil. The key values that characterise his work are elegance, sobriety and simplicity.
To describe his work as a designer, Gallina likes to quote Constantin Brancusi: “Simplicity is complexity resolved”.
