The Fellow family offers a wide range of products of great charm, ranging from the enveloping armchair to the soft sofa, available in two different lengths, and the complementary pouf.
All the elements share the same solid walnut Canaletta wood structure, the iconic Porada wood, and stand out for their measured proportions and soft shapes. The entire collection is gathered under a unique main feature: the slightly contrasting embossed stitching that embellishes the edges of the seat and back cushions, as well as the armrests and upholstered base.
The researched proportions and the variety of fabrics and leathers available to cover the Fellow collection, allow these products to fit harmoniously into both residential and hospitality contexts, such as lounges, waiting rooms and executive offices.
Maurizio Marconato – 1961 and Terry Zappa – 1963 were both born in Como. They studied architecture at Politecnico di Milano University, where they graduated with honours in 1986.
After few years of experience, in 1991 they founded Studio Marconato & Zappa Architetti Associati. They have worked in the design field since 1981, creating products for major home and office furniture companies, working together through all the steps of bringing a design to the market, from the main concept to the marketing, and supporting them with graphic, photography and creation of exhibition stands. Their collaboration with Porada has led to the creation of many sophisticated design products, including the wonderful Pilar table.
