The dining chair with arms Frida features an elegant and refined solid canaletta walnut frame, showcasing Porada’s craftsmanship in woodworking. Wood is the true protagonist of this design, as well as of other items in the collection. The canaletta walnut can be paired with all fabrics and leathers of the collection. The design, simple yet carefully crafted to make Frida a pure example of design, reflects the essentiality typical of Porada’s dining chair collection. The structure consists of a continuous wooden element onto which the back legs and seat supports are inserted, while the contrast between flat and curved surfaces gives the chair a modern and sophisticated look.
Niccolò Devetag graduated in Industrial Product Design in 2017 at the Politecnico di Milano University, where he attended a biannual course with the architect Piero Lissoni and his project team.
After his degree, he enrolled in the Design Engineering master’s degree at the same university. He ranked third in the “Porada International Award” in 2018 and in 2019 he won the first prize with his “Ninfea” desk and saw his product become an integral part of the Porada collection. He repeated his success in 2019 with the “Pebble” sideboard.
