GHEO-K

The magnificence of the Gheo round dining table is given by the spherical shape of the round base in solid walnut or ash-wood, available in different natural and stained finishes. The round top is in glass, and the smallest size has a diameter of 150 cm, perfect for four to six people; the largest size is 190 cm suitable for a dining room set, up to eight chairs.
Thanks to the transparent glass top, the art craft base is visible and creates an overwhelming light and geometry effect. The metal base is in a chromed finish, to reflect the shape of the wooden base and to highlight the lightness of the design.
Transparency and solid wood are the main concept behind this clean shape that shows the skills of Porada’s best artisans and production process.

Emanuele Missaglia

Furniture design is in his DNA, being the grandson of an artist – in 1914, his grandfather founded the family cabinetmakers. Missaglia grew up surrounded with the scent of wood, discovering his first designs, and learning the ancient techniques of furniture production. He graduated with honours in 2002 from the Politecnico di Milano University. Through his know-how and his unique ability to read different types of architectural spaces and styles and interpret historical cultures, he has carried out some of the most exciting high-profile projects in Italy and abroad. Emanuele Missaglia is an architect, designer, and artistic director. He explores beauty, classical style, emotion, empathy and coherence.
