The food trolley is reinterpreted by Porada and re-proposed in a contemporary key with the Jet family of service trolley. Their shapes are the result of the design that characterizes both the Mix collection of mirrors and the Fritz small tables: wooden trays protected by a frame in solid Canaletta walnut -also available in a Wengé stained finish- and supported by a structure on wheels in matt black metal.
The inside of the tops can be made in the same finish of the frame, glossy lacquered in various colours, or with the micro striped inlay to meet any type of need. The Jet 4 service trolley, unlike the other two which are distinguished respectively by wooden handles (Jet 2) or leather cord handles (Jet 1), has three shelves.

Designer

Carlo Ballabio

Since 2011 he has been in charge of product development director and designer at Porada. He was born in Cantù (Como) in 1967, in his twenties he studied at IPSIA G. Meroni of Lissone, near Milan, as a technician for the furniture and design industry.
In 1990 he obtained a master’s degree in Industrial Design at Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan. After graduation, Ballabio worked for the Paolo Nava design practice and then for Paola Navone as senior designer. During his career he designed many products, some of which can be found exhibited at the Triennale in Milano. For Porada he designed many of the most popular products, including the highly successful Ziggy collection. What makes its design unique is the steadily search for the perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality.
