Elegantly functional, the Jok round side table is part of the collection of furnishing objects designed by the Buratti brothers and created thanks to the skills of the best artisans and the refined technological production processes of Porada.
The pole in solid Canaletta walnut wood is supported by a thin metal ring that acts as a stable base. The wooden pole evolves seamlessly into a circular top, available in many finishes and materials, including back-coated glass, marble, and Rock.
The chance to choose the finishes ensures the highest level of customisation for this modern coffee table. Flexible and versatile, Jok is designed to be used paired with sofas and armchairs of any style to rest small items, such as a glass or a book. It is the perfect solution for both more traditional and contemporary living areas.
Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the Design department of Politecnico di Milano and Oscar Buratti, architect, together founded the BURATTI ARCHITETTI studio. The Studio has a multidisciplinary practice, which covers buildings and urban areas, architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as design of exhibitions and showrooms. An intense and varied professional path in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and craftsmanship, mingle together. Buratti brothers share with Porada the intention of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original visions, and product quality.
“We don’t believe in striking gestures, but in the ability to transfer into the object a broader view of the space, good technique and care of detail.”
