The collection of modern wall mirrors Ops consists of two elements – Ops 1 and Ops 3 – apparently different, they share the same lines with softly rounded corners. The Ops 1 version is a medium-sized pentagonal mirror and is suitable in modern living rooms or luxury hotel suites in combination with tables and consoles. The large wall mirror Ops 3, on the other hand, is more functional if placed at the entrance of a house or in a contemporary bedroom, thanks to the presence of a practical emptying shelf.
Both versions are completed by a solid walnut Canaletta wooden frame with a simple and linear design, but at the same time sophisticated, a feature that makes these mirrors suitable for environments of any style, from the most traditional to the most contemporary.
Umberto Asnago was born in Barlassina in 1949, he is a contemporary Italian designer. He received his education at the Cantù Art Institute and learned the art of woodworking. Curiosity and experimentation define his dynamic personality.
His design combines elegance and formal rigour. In his pieces, precious materials like solid wood, leather, steel, glass and marble, always play a central role. The ability to work with different materials and to combine them harmoniously with each other is the distinctive trait that started the solid collaboration between the designer and Porada. One of Asnago’s most recent creations for Porada is the imposing executive desk in Canaletta walnut, Flavio.
