The Pebble wooden sideboard bears the signature of the young talent Niccolò Devetag, winner of the Porada design award promoted in 2019. The inspiring principle of this design starts from the desire to create a storage space with a minimalist aesthetic impact, highlighting the distinctive features of Porada: the passion for wood and attention to detail.
The external frame in Canaletta walnut subtly runs along the entire profile of the sideboard. The smoothed corners in solid wood express an organic and refined design that outlines a distinct and well-defined geometry.
Four hinged doors form the front of the Pebble modern sideboard, creating a pleasant play of contrasts with the internal structure made of grey stained ash wood and the smoked glass shelves.
A metal base in pewter grey finish supports the entire structure giving a touch of gracefulness.
Niccolò Devetag graduated in Industrial Product Design in 2017 at the Politecnico di Milano University, where he attended a biannual course with the architect Piero Lissoni and his project team.
After his degree, he enrolled in the Design Engineering master’s degree at the same university. He ranked third in the “Porada International Award” in 2018 and in 2019 he won the first prize with his “Ninfea” desk and saw his product become an integral part of the Porada collection. He repeated his success in 2019 with the “Pebble” sideboard.
