Versatility and comfort distinguish these dining chairs in wood and leather. Starting from the shape of the Vera armchair, the Buratti brothers created the Sveva modern dining chair, available with or without arms. Solid wood and ergonomic design are the main concept of this clean design that shows the skills of Porada’s best artisans and production process.
The seat cushions are available in any fabric or leather of the collection, or in customer’s own material. The back is entirely made in Cuoietto leather and, being soft and adaptable to the body, creates a unique comfort, like a modern armchair.
Thanks to different materials and finishes available for this chair, many different styles can be created: from a monochrome tone for a more sophisticated, to a choice of brighter colours for a more creative mood. Sveva is perfect to be used with many different dining tables.
Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the Design department of Politecnico di Milano and Oscar Buratti, architect, together founded the BURATTI ARCHITETTI studio. The Studio has a multidisciplinary practice, which covers buildings and urban areas, architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as design of exhibitions and showrooms. An intense and varied professional path in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and craftsmanship, mingle together. Buratti brothers share with Porada the intention of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original visions, and product quality.
“We don’t believe in striking gestures, but in the ability to transfer into the object a broader view of the space, good technique and care of detail.”
