A contemporary interpretation of the classic bean-shaped sofa, Yves is characterised by curved and enveloping lines, a synthesis of elegance and sinuosity. Highly versatile, it can be used as a centrepiece in a room or to create fascinating combinations. Yves features solid Canaletta walnut feet, while the cover is available in the fabrics and leathers of the collection. Yves presents monomaterial and sculptural textures that convey a feeling of an intimate conviviality. Yves can be set both in the domestic spaces and in the hotels and public places. The dynamic shapes and attractive design make Yves a unique and timeless piece.
Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the Design department of Politecnico di Milano and Oscar Buratti, architect, together founded the BURATTI ARCHITETTI studio. The Studio has a multidisciplinary practice, which covers buildings and urban areas, architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as design of exhibitions and showrooms. An intense and varied professional path in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and craftsmanship, mingle together. Buratti brothers share with Porada the intention of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original visions, and product quality.
“We don’t believe in striking gestures, but in the ability to transfer into the object a broader view of the space, good technique and care of detail.”
