The Augusto dining table presents itself as a true sculptural work combining craftsmanship and creative innovation. The protagonist of the product is the modular base in solid canaletta walnut, composed of interlocking elements that allow Agusto to adapt to different interior design needs, as well as providing a stable and long-lasting construction. The top is available in all the variants of the Porada collection – crystal, essence, marble and Rock – and in different finishes to guarantee the customer the highest level of product customisation based on specific style requirements. From a conceptual point of view, the table design is rooted in Roman cultural history, inspired by one of the most iconic architectural elements: the arch. Each table leg, in fact, is a contemporary reinterpretation of a vertically bipartite arch with the two halves positioned opposite each other. In this way, a balanced and symmetrical rhythm develops that represents the primary aesthetic quid of the product.
Caractéristiques techniques
David Dolcini
David est né près de Milan. Sa philosophie et son approche au design découlent d’une combinaison de différentes expériences éducatives et professionnelles à l’étranger au cours des années.
Après avoir terminé ses études au Politecnico de Milan, il a fondé en 2007 DAVID DOLCINI STUDIO, qui s’occupe principalement de design industriel, de produits, d’intérieurs et d’expositions, dont il est le directeur artistique. Certaines de ses œuvres ont été sélectionnées pour des expositions internationales et ont été exposées au Palazzo Arte de la Triennale de Milan. En 2012, il a ouvert une nouvelle base opérationnelle à Valence, en Espagne. Sa collaboration fructueuse avec Porada a débuté en 2013 et, depuis, il a conçu certains des produits emblématiques de l’entreprise, notamment la bibliothèque Aria et le canapé Argo. Les points clés qui caractérisent l’approche méthodologique de David sont un travail précis et adapté, l’innovation, l’identité italienne et l’ouverture internationale.
